This course is designed to introduce students to the contexts, institutions and processes that frame the practice of politics in Canada. Topics will include trends in Canadian political attitudes, the evolving nature of Canadian parliamentary government and federalism, and the complex dynamics between citizens and the state. Prerequisites: Registration status: senior student. Exclusions: PO213, PO215*. Registration Notes: PO263 Lecture A is restricted to students in the Sussex program.
